A stunning line-up of classic, modern and custom vehicles set off on a two hour lunchtime cruise on Bank Holiday Monday.
Around 50 cars took part in the event, which was organised by our Mayor, Councillor Lynn Langlands, and the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club.
After gathering in Beeching Close, the procession made its way towards Sidley, Pebsham, and then Bexhill town centre.
There really was something to suit every motoring taste with Jaguar, Aston Martin, Morgan, Porsche, MG and Triumph among those represented.
Cllr Langlands addressed the assembled drivers just before 12 noon, thanking them for their efforts in putting a smile on the face of Bexhill.
The cars then left in small groups, tooting their horns and waving to the crowds that had already started to gather.
The procession replaces what would have been the club’s 16th annual classic car show that raises thousands of pounds for charity every year.
Unfortunately, the hugely popular event, which is usually held on August Bank Holiday at The Polegrove, had to be cancelled due to Covid-19.
