Cyclist air-lifted to hospital is in ‘serious’ condition.

Police are seeking witnesses to a collision in Bexhill in which a cyclist sustained  serious injuries.

Just after 10am on Tuesday 1 June a man riding a cycle and a man riding a motor-cycle collided in De La Warr Parade, Bexhill, close to the junction with Sutton Place. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment, the cyclist by air ambulance.

The cyclist, aged 50, is currently in a serious condition.

The motor-cyclist, aged 21, has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
