Open today: Coffee lounge reopens its doors after lockdown

The Pelham coffee lounge and community hub opens for business again today (Monday 7th September).

The Christian charity, based in Holliers Hill, has spent the past month redecorating and ensuring everything is Covid-19 compliant.

“We’ve been busy getting ready to welcome old and new friends back in a safe and appropriate way,” said a spokesperson.

One way systems will be in place, hand sanitiser will be available, and staff will be wearing face shields.

There are large protective screens around the coffee bar and reduced seating in the lounge.

However, it can still seat up to 30 people at a time, plus another 12 when the function room is free.
