Time running out to enjoy cut-price meals in Bexhill

Today is your last official chance to make the most of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme in Bexhill – and restaurants are expected to be packed.

The Government-backed plan has given diners 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August.

And owners of eateries across the town are gearing up for a busy end with some being fully booked for Bank Holiday Monday.

On its Facebook page, Rocksalt posted: “We’re not taking bookings, just pop in and we’ll seat you as soon as we can. Please bear with us, it’s going to be a busy one.”
