Success! Bexhill College students make the grade

Bexhill College students are celebrating a year of excellent results – despite the upheaval surrounding Covid-19.

The provisional A Level pass rate is 99.4%, which maintains last year’s performance that was the college’s highest ever.

A total of 32 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate, with many students achieving the qualifications required for university.

Students studying the Level 3 Extended Diploma, which is equivalent to three A Levels, also achieved a 99.5% pass rate with many high grades.

Many of these students achieved triple distinction stars which is equivalent to three A* grades at A Level.

College Principal, Karen Hucker, congratulated all students and highlighted how results were achieved even though this year obviously didn’t run to plan.

“Our students and staff have worked hard throughout their courses, both prior to and during lockdown and overcome the unexpected challenges the latter period of the year brought us,” she said.
